Handy Construction Calculators released for Android!

I’ve released a version of Handy Construction Calculators for Android, now with 12 handy calculators.

Aggregate-estimate tons required for a given length, width, thickness and density.

Board Foot-estimate # of board feet for a given length, width, thickness and quantity.

Paint-estimate gallons needed for a given area and wall type.

Drywall-estimate materials needed for a given area and panel size used.

Concrete-estimate cubic yards needed for a given area and thickness.

Asphalt-estimate tons needed for a given area and thickness.


Flooring – Estimate materials needed for a given length, width and wastage.

Framing-estimate studs and plates required for a given area based on stud spacing, number of window and door openings and corners.

Insulation-estimate number of rolls needed or quantity of blown insulation for a given area and roll size used.

OSB Sheeting-estimate number of 8×4 sheets required for a given area.

Roofing- Estimate materials needed for a given roof type, pitch, size, nail size and bundle size.


Brick-estimates number of bricks needed for a given area based on type of brick being used.

We just submitted a group of cooking calculators to Palm. This is what I think is one of the most powerful group of cooking calculators on any mobile platform. Here’s the catalog description:
