Vibrate During Meetings

February 14th, 2010 by Mike No comments »

Vibrate During Meetings is a clever solution to a common problem. When you are in an important meeting, you don’t want your phone ringer to go off when someone is calling. This application will monitor your calendar and automatically set your ringer to vibrate or silence during your meetings. Then, when your meeting is done, set it back to the previous setting. Anyone in a business environment will find this application indispensable.

This is a widget – Just add to your Home Screen.

Features:

-Global setting to turn on/off calendar monitoring

-If you sync multiple calendars, explicitly select which calendars you would like to be monitored. For instance, if you sync your spouses calendar, you don’t want your phone being set to vibrate for their meetings.

-Global setting to set to Vibrate/Silent/Normal during meetings.

-SMS auto-respond will easily let you send callers a quick SMS message.

-Monitor calendars based on Free/Busy/Out of Office time if desired

-Currently works on all devices!

-Now supports Droid Corporate Calendar

-Also works great on Hero Exchange Calendar.

DateSlate

February 14th, 2010 by Mike No comments »

What DateSlate does well is let you know what events are coming up with it’s intuitive days away view. You can see how many times the event has occurred (age of a person, year of anniversary, etc), how many days away it is, type of event and notes. You can also record important information about the event or person, like shirt size, favorite color, etc. DateSlate will also remind you a certain number of days before an event at a time you define. That way you’ll have plenty of time to plan or buy presents.

CleverNote

Get ready for a brand new way to keep notes and reminders like you’ve never seen before!

CleverNote works the way that you do! You define keywords that tell CleverNote when to remind you about your notes. As you use your hiptop, you are reminded about things you need to do. For example, say you need to call your Mom. You can set up the keyword “Call” to mean that notes with that keyword need to be shown whenever you go into the Phone application. You type your note into CleverNote starting with your keyword, something like “Call mom”. The next time you go into the Phone application, you would see a Marquee message (the bubble that shows at the top right of the screen) telling you to “Call mom”. It works with all the built in applications and is totally configurable by you!  CleverNote will also monitor the pasteboard for items you cut or copy, and those that have your keywords will be automatically entered. Think about the possiblities.. “Email Jim” would show up when you go into the Email application. “Text Lizy about Dinner” would show up when you go into the Messages application. If you are addicted to your Danger Hiptop, this application is for you. You’ll never forget anything again! You can also set timed reminders for each note, just in case you need to remember something at a certain time. CleverNote does notes like you have never thought possible!
